Welcome back returning families and welcome aboard new families.
The 2016/17 hockey season is about to begin. We (the coaching staff) are very excited to get back to the arena and have some fun with the kids.
Home ice times:
Thursday nights – 8-9PM and Saturday Night from 6-7:30PM * Note the time change for Saturday nights from last year! Our first ice time will be this Thursday, Sept 29th *Please do your best to always have players at the arena 30 minutes before games and practices. If you will be late or absent please let Coach Darryl know.
Games:
This year there is a change to the amount of games we will play. We now have 24 games: 12 home and 12 away. It will be difficult to get all home games on Saturday nights, so there will likely be games on Thursday nights.
Gate duty:
As in past years, we are responsible to run a gate prior to our games. You will need to be there one hour before the game to collect money. The cash box can be picked up at the Point Variety or the team on before us. After our game, we need to return the cash box to Point Varity or to the team playing after us.
Name Bars:
For families that did not play in the Point last year, name bars are applied to the jerseys (home & away) If you have name bars, please bring them in otherwise there will be a small cost to those families that don't have them.
