The Point Edward Blackhawk Novices hosted the Lambton Shores Predators Red on December 15th.
The Predators opened the scoring early in the first period. The Blackhawks responded a couple minutes later on an unassisted goal by Owen K. The scored remained tied at the end of the first period.
The second period saw action at both ends of the ice with the Blackhawks scoring to take the lead late in the period. Blackhawks goal was finished in front of the net by Nolan W with the assist coming from Nickolas H.
Blackhawks added to there lead a few minutes into the third period on another unassisted effort by Owen K for his second goal of the game. With four minutes remaining Nickolas H scored for his second point of the game with assists from Wesley J and Nolan C to add to the Blackhawk lead. The Predators scored a late game goal to bring the game within two but the Blackhawks shut them down the remainder of the game for the 4 to 2 win. Ryley C and Peyton B teamed up in goal making big saves throughout the game to secure the win over the Predators.
The Blackhawks performance player of the game was awarded to Jackson M for listening and executing coaches instructions on the ice throughout the game.
