Welcome Letter for the Atom Families

Welcome
to the 2014-15 season! My name is Chad Ikert, and I will be the team manager
this season. Andy Hocking is the head coach and Coach Andy will be
calling everyone this week to touch base. In the meantime, he’s asked me to
pass along the following information to the team:
- Our first practice will be Monday, Aug 29th from 7pm-8pm.
- There will be a parents meeting following the first practice on the 29th. Parents please plan to attend as Coach Andy will be reviewing all the pertinent info for the season.
- Each player must submit 3 numbers they would like to wear this season. Please email your 3 choices to me.
- Any allergies and/or medical conditions your son has must be communicated to the coach & trainer. We will be providing parents with a medical form that must be filled out and returned to us.
- We’re planning to attend 2 tournaments: Dresden Nov 21-23 & Brantford Jan 9-11. The Brantford tournament is paid for by the PHMHA. The Dresden tournament will cost $46 a player if all 16 players agree to participate.
- Anyone who has not previously played in Point Edward must purchase " Name Plates “ for their jerseys: 1 black on white and 1 white on black. This needs to happen ASAP. Once we have all the name plates our jerseys will be sent in to get them attached. If you have any questions about this or if you’re not sure where to get this done, please email me and I can provide further info.
We’re very excited about the season. It’s going to be a great year with lots of fun! See you all at the rink very soon!
