First Game Success!!!
The Point Edward Midgets travelled to South Huron on Oct. 4, 2014 for their 1st game of the year and came out on top...
First game jitters were not apparent in the Midgets first game of the year. Travelling down the lakeshore to Exeter to play South Huron the Midgets got off to an early start with the first goal of the year off a booming slapshot from the point by bi-annually scoring sensation Keagan Brogden. This followed by goals from Tyler Smith with 4, Chris Courtemanche with 2 and Brett McGugan with a single marker. Helpers went to Chris Gilroy with 2, Daniel Marr with 1, Blake Taylor with 1, Brodgen with 1 and McGugan with 1 also. It was a good start to the season after only being on the ice a couple of times. We look forward to having a good practice this week followed by our home opener on Saturday, October 11,2014 at 8:30pm against Lambton Shores.
