Hockey Registration Update
Submitted By Lori Guthrie on Saturday, May 17, 2014
Below are the spots that are still open for each level. If there is mention of a lottery, this will be done on the 21st at 7pm, prior to the doors opening at 7:30 for the Open Registration.  Those that will be or may be involved in a lottery will be notified over the next few days and can choose to attend and witness the lottery draw if they wish.  It will start at 7 pm sharp and go from youngest division to oldest.

If you are not notified that you may be in a lottery for a spot or have not been contacted to say you will be put on the waitlist due to numbers, you are currently on the team.  This may change because of travel tryouts or circumstances beyond our control.  Please do not email, text or ask any Board member for specific details regarding your child or anyone else's.  We will not respond to this type of request as it puts everyone in a precarious spot.  We hope you will respect this request.

Instructional - we have spots for 16 skaters.  We are still awaiting final word on signing up 3 year olds, but will take any forms and hold them until we get a final decision on them.  4 year olds and those that may be Tyke or even Novice age can register in Instructional if the parents feel that the child needs more instruction or is just starting to skate.

Tyke currently is full and there will be a lottery for the final roster.  We will take names for a waitlist in case any of those registered so far make a travel team.  Lottery information is listed above.

Novice is currently full for skaters and a waitlist spot for a goalie.  There is a possibility of movement on this team due to the large number of players trying out for travel teams.  We will have a lottery as needed and place names on our waitlist as well.  Lottery information is listed above.

Atom has room for 1 skater and 2 goalies.  There may be room for additional skaters once again due to travel tryouts so we are looking for names for a waitlist.  There is no need for a lottery at this level so far.

Pee Wee is currently full.  We have 3 goalies registered and there will be a lottery for this on the 21st.  We still will look for a few names for a waitlist due to players trying out for travel team.  The lottery for the goalies will be on the 21st.  Information listed above.

Bantam currently has room for 3 skaters but there may be room for more as well as a goalie due to players trying out for travel teams.  There is no need for a lottery at this time.

Midget is currently full and has a few names on the waitlist from returning players.  There may be some movement due to travel tryouts but at this time there is no need for a lottery.

We will try and contact all those that will be placed in the lottery for each division by May 17th  We will also contact anyone who will be put on a waitlist due to number of registrants.  If you do not hear from one of the conveners, please assume you are on a team at this time.  As always, things can change and we will do our best to keep everyone informed.  Please watch the website for updates.

Have a great summer and hopefully we will see the majority of you back at the arena in October.
