Bob Maughan Award Recipient Emily Fraser
The Point Edward Minor Athletic Association would like to congratulate Point Edward resident Emily Fraser!  She was awarded the 2017 Bob Maughan Bursary. This honour is reserved for a Point Edward student pursuing post-secondary education who displays both sportsmanship and leadership skills.

Emily is an ideal candidate and we are thrilled to support her efforts at pursuing a career in Fish and Wildlife.

Bob Maughan was a local legend.  He owned and operated “Bob’s Variety” (Village Variety if you were from out of town). He had a warm smile and huge heart. He firmly believed in supporting youth and promoting positive development.  His legacy continues to live on in the Village.

Shown presenting the award are representatives of PEMAA, Liz Page and Lori Guthrie and parents Ian and Sara Fraser.

Emily is a graduate of SCITS and is currently taking Fish and Wildlife Technician at Fleming College in Lindsay.

Best of luck in all of your future endeavours Emily! We look forward to seeing you succeed!
