Hockey Equipment Checklist
Hi everyone!
Even though there is still 7 weeks before the 2022\23 hockey season starts (Sept 26), we thought it would be a good time to remind you about what Equipment is required.

It is important to have a good look at your players equipment. Make sure no screws or bolts are missing or loose. Check velcro straps to make sure there is a good connection (especially in neck guards). Be sure all equipment is the proper size (not too small or large). Are the skates in need of a sharpening? Stick size (too short from a summer growing spurt?

Please not that the OMHA has been putting more pressure on the "mandatory" use of mouth guards. Players must have them in their mouth secure to their teeth. If players are found chewing on the mouth guard or not having one while in play, they can get a 10 minute penalty!
We also require mouth guards be worn during practice!

*Mouth guards from the dentist are molded to teeth, are slimmer, and stay in place better during a game \ practice.

See the link below for an Equipment checklist to help you get ready. It would be great to print off the the checklist and share it with your player(s) to let them help manage their own equipment.
